One In The Chamber was the first short film, where I was able to work with a larger crew with up to 25 people working on the film in some capacity. I modeled the script after a classic detective noir drama taking a lot of inspiration from one of my favorite films The Maltese Falcon. I wanted the film to feel pretty authentically classic cinema. I chose to make the entire film in Black and White and picked the props, locations, and wadrobe to model that asstetic. We even put a Classic Noir LUT on the monitor, so most of the time on set, I was seeing what it would look like later on in post production.
